Which Vintage McIntosh piece would you want McIntosh to Reissue ?

With the MC275 reissued 4x already, which Vintage McIntosh piece would you want them to reissue ?

Or would you rather see an MC275 VII with Orange or Pink lights ?

Would also like to see a stereo 150 watt tube amp & a 100 watt tube Integrated. Something a little ballsier than the MA2275 was.

They need to resurrect the woodstock MC3500.

    Followed by the MC225.

I was going to suggest the MC3500 but figured the MC2301 is an updated version.

Thanks Bill....but I don't think it has the wood sides. Now that's retro! I'm sure if I wanted a 78, Mike at Audio Classics could fine me one.

    agree!

I also like the console speaker thing that came out. Put a MT-5/10 on top with a new integrated.
Drop it in shows like Mad Men, but with other period appropriate electronics.

I'm also a big fan of the MC-30, but I don't really have a pair of speakers that would work well with them anymore!

Were consoles like this actually made by McIntosh, or are they custom?

Re: Which Vintage McIntosh piece would you want McIntosh to Reissue ?

I would like to see an amp in the same size platform as the MC2505, MC2125, MC2155, MC7150, MC150, MC162 or MC202. If your like me (getting older) and have difficulty lifting these 150 Lbs. behemoths it would be nice to still be able to buy a McIntosh that I can move without calling the neighbor.Image 6.jpg

I've had numerous, well maybe a ton of Mc gear. Strangely enough my favorite piece that I've owned was a C40 preamp. A very nice pre.

The MC2255 was considered the Best back then for home use. It eventually evolved into the MC300 then MC352 and now MC452
