    They should have sourced the K-01XD in black. The silver one doesn't fit look wise at all.

    Since it was discontinued the only way to find a Black Edition k01 XD would be finding a NOS unit or one the used market.

    Folks can actually change the color of equipment by wrapping it. I did that. My amps are originally silver, but I wrapped them in black to match my speakers.
    In the case of that piece, the front panel would be more challenging due to the buttons, but the sides and the top are easy to do. The front could remain silver and the top and sides can be wrapped in black.

    Mike’s main guy Jerry is the best I have ever seen at handling heavy and precious audio gear. He has probably touched more high dollar massive gear than most on this forum. They have moved lots of heavy gear up and down my stairs and always do so with ease and precision.
