I'm fairly new here and haven't posted anything yet. When I saw the post regarding Martin Logan's it caught my attention. I bought a pair of Ethos and they are the best sounding speakers I have had in my room. Love them.

    I owned the Summits.

If anyone is interested in Stats, whether as a primary speaker, or as an alternative to your current speaker, try to buy an used Acoustat. For 1 - 2k, it is throwaway price and sounds brilliant.

I am going to settle down long-term as an owner of restored apogees.

There is a guy in Vegas with a 40ft room who is building an Atmos multichannel system with Neolith as his front two and CLXs for his sides, Renaissance for his rears, 6 subs, etc

I'm as guilty as Paul and find most of them the same , soundlabs and Acoustats are the best ESL's imo and i could live with them if no magnostats. Quads are the best for small rooms , a renewed 57 in a small room still has that quad magic .

Reviving an old thread, but just wanted to add my 2 cents into the mix. I love my mint SL3's. Some say these are one of the best speakers ML ever made and that they still hold their own today. I've had everything from super efficient horns to Magnepan's, and these are probably the best overall sounding speakers I've had. I don't see myself selling these babies anytime soon, if at all.

I'm sure what you meant to say is you have not heard a box speaker perform like a panel (do the good things a panel does as well as a panel does them).

with all due respect, of course......in case I have missed your meaning.

Just picked up a set of the entry electro motion ESL for my small listening room. They sound great and are still breaking in. The bass is a little light but will hopefully flesh out a little.
