Kev. Trust me. I like to have them but I'm almost certain will try the Devore for this time and try the 20.7 some time later ( with the amounts of speakers I went through last year it could be very soon.lol )

I'm very familiar with the Maggie's ( owned 1.7,3.7 and had a 20.7 for very short period ( 20 days ) however my audio room was way to small for the panels to breath so hope I get better experience with my new audio room :). I'm so glad that you are enjoying your 20.7. Right on~ !

I hope the 20.7's you had on loan had a few good hours on them. The first few hundred on mine were very up & down, by my reckoning I am just over 400 hrs & they are really starting to hit their stride.

It was about an year ago. My old room (14X12 ) just couldn't take it

I need another audition in sometime. :)

Dollar for dollar nothing and i do mean nothing is better, many years ago i asked this question on many forums, name me one speaker that is a BETTER bargain dollar for dollar than this speaker for $550.00 - - - MMG_01.jpg - - - i am still waiting for the answer and please don't forget to include the price of the stand in your choice.:)

Anybody can tell me about the 3.5R ? I used to have the 1.7 & 3.7 before however I didn't have a room for them so I never heard what they really can do. Now I have much bigger room willing to try them again. however I really like to buy used one for now see how works in my new room before I made up on mind to go with Brand new :)

Is the 3.5R is as good as 3,7?

The answer to that is no, every model change is suppose to be better but better for who, i loved the sweet sounding MG-3A but others said is was to sweet did not like the 3.5s found them to lively but others adored them liked the 3.6 and 3.7 but would i refuse a good deal for the difference no but if i had the money of course i would rather have the latest model it is not because a little upgrade to a 3.7i is now available that the 3.7 is no longer good there may be a small difference but is it that important $$$$$ to you.

PS: Don't worry BlueMcIntosh with your gear all Magnepans should sound pretty darn good, i wouldn't worry to much about that and remember this dollar for dollar you need at least double the money to equal the sound of panels.

Hard to beat Magnepan. If I didn't own Magicos I would buy the 20.7s on Mye stands.

Maybe I should consider the Audio Exklusiv. What an Excellent speakers.

Hi Paul i have had the chance to hear both Magnepan 20.7 & Audio Exklusiv P-3.1 and for just about the same price i would choose the 20.7s with no hesitation IF you have the room because the Audio Exklusiv P-3.1 is a much smaller speaker.
