    Re: Jim Winey - RIP

I have Jim Winey to thank for my love of the open baffle, planar, panel sound.

Ever since the first day I heard MMG's and the MGLR-1's that I purchased in the late 90s, I have been hooked for life. Now that I finally own Maggies again, I really don't think I'll ever be without them, or at least some form of panel loudspeakers.

    R.I.P. Mr Winey.

Yes. My med school years were buffered by my Maggies, driven by a B&K ST 202. Marriage forced their resignation... Maggies were fantastic, and I thank Mr. Winey for his contribution to audio.
