Did anyone notice the Magico page on Roon partners page? It shows a speaker that looks like a Magico similar to A series but nothing that is currently out there. Is that something new coming out or some other speaker?

Roon x Magico

That’s what I was thinking, more drivers than A5, but the woofers look smaller, maybe some kind of an active speaker they are working on?

That would be super cool. We still can’t get over the S3 Mk3. It FILLS our 20 x 25.

S3 is my favorite from what I’ve seen in videos, haven’t heard it yet though.

One thing to note on that speaker on Roon page is that the drivers don’t look to be screwed on externally like on A or S series, but instead are more like the M or Q series.

If it’s a “Roon Ready” device, it has to have built in Ethernet receiver (wired/WiFi) unit for the Roon app to access and stream from. Assuming inboard amp(s) with crossover.

Interesting product to show up on the Roon site first. Seems like most new entry Roon devices languish on that devices web site for a while, waiting on Roon certification.

When(If) this product shows up on the Magico site, there could be additional control methods (Spotify/Qobuz/Tidal/Audirvana/Etc), or even line level inputs.

Maybe it was another brand or rendering?

I was also wondering if that was a rendering, although the rest of the room was exactly like in one of the pictures of S3, or it could be a real product that wasn’t supposed to be posted yet and that’s why it was taken down so quickly.
