    Speaker stand for Magico ACC

Are those Halcro amps in the background? I had a pair plus the pre amp for several years and really liked them. I thought it was a shame the company went out of business.

Yes, they are Halcro dm88 mono blocks, and my pre-amp is Halcro dm8.
Halcro is not out of business, they are still in Adelaide and building stuff and inventing new stuff. Its top dog amp is Halcro Eclipse mono, which replaced dm88. I had a pair at home for a month on demo. Best sounding amp I ever heard.

I guess we got bad information here in the states. Halcro is the best amp that most of us over here (not me!) have not heard of. My dm68 monoblocks driving B&W 800's were revelatory.

Sorry for the offtopic, but Cincy, why are you selling your MSB M500? Not happy with them?

Eclipse mono driving my Magico M3's was revelatory, and the new paint job and curved lines are gorgeous. The leap from dm88>Eclipse mono is greater than any of the previous leaps dm58>dm68>dm78>dm88.
