Phono Section on the Lux Integrateds?

How does the Phono section fair on the Luxman Ints? Specifically the 505uxII.

Will it be better than a inexpensive outboard or as good?

I would hope it would be way better than the pre in my Rotel RX-1052 so just wondering if it is good enough for the casual listening sessions.

Well, I can now answer this question myself. They are very good. I finally have a few new and a few quality vintage albums to spin and the Rega-Luxman duo seems to be just fine. Lots of bass, separation, detail and no listening fatigue at all.

I still have not touched the Bass or Treble knobs, mostly Direct with a little Loudness for low levels.

Phono Section on the Lux Integrateds?

I used to have the 590aX. I thought the onboard phono paired with an Ortofon Cadenza Bronze was on par with the Ayre P5xe. So yes, very good.

Congrats on the new integrated by the way!
