M800A vs M900U Anybody heard both?
Curious as to if any members have had both of these (Or heard). Ive read where the 800A sounds more musical but not as "resolving" as the 900U. That the 800 sounds like the 590AXII on Steroids where as the 900 is more in line with the 590UX Integrated. Any other opinions would be helpful. Also if anybody knows when the 800A went out of production. Thanks in advance!

Many years back I listened to a dealers home system with monoblocked 800’s and matching CF800 preamp. He had some ribbon type speakers with custom subs. It was an absolutely amazing system. Smooth and sweet, ballsy and musicians in the room with you. It really ignited a love of Luxman. I’m sure the 900u is superb and probably a little clearer sonically. Some say the sound differences are kind of like how the point 5 and point 8 Pass Labs amps differ.
