Luxman NT-07

It looks like there is confirmation that Lumin was involved.
Here are additional details:

LUXMAN NT-07 network transport

"Jointly developed with LUMIN
Thoroughly brushed up to LUXMAN specifications"

"The latter (NT-07) is designed for the living room, and is equipped with 2 HDMI (ARC) systems to meet the needs of connecting to a TV and enjoying network audio with a high-quality audio system. We are aiming for commercialization in 2023, taking time to consider the usability of the infrared remote control."

"Price: around 500,000 yen
Release date: Scheduled for 2023"

contradicted by other info which reads:
"Sales are scheduled to start around the summer of 2023, and the price is expected to be around 600,000 to 700,000 (yen)."

Can't wait for some reviews of it!

It just got shown at Axpona. I have a Lumin X1 but think this might be what i need to complete my 100% Luxman system. I run the X1 into my D10x DAC so all I need is a transport. Then just need to check out the new turntable they just released 😜

Maui-

Looks like you by-pass the DAC in the X1 and use the D10x DAC. I assume you prefer the D10x. I ask as I am currently considering moving from my present Mc CD player and Bryston DAC to a Luxman D07x.

Thanks,

John

I'm thinking it will be more like $5000+ if the YEN 6-7k number is correct.

Yes after extensive listening I have gone with the Luxman DAC over the Lumin. It is way more organic and dare I say, analog sounding. The X1 is very nice but it does not grab me the way the 10X does.
I am thrilled to see that Luxman have collaborated with Lumin on this project because I think the streamer part of the X1 is stellar. Hoping the Luxman lives up to the reputation. Now I need to hear that table so I can decide if I'm going to shoot fr a total Luxman system and dump the SME :S

It will likely be much more than that for several reasons:

Import shipping costs;
Import taxes and duties;
Additional cost structure added on top to pay Luxman US operating costs and profits;
Market positioning will be much higher in the USA than what they sell for in Japan.

My guess is closer to $8K-$10K though in the end we are all just guessing.

Maybe Mike has some insight.

Hope that's not the case. But knowing Luxman it could be. For me their display info is one of the only negatives I have about my components.

Looks like a bit more info in this pic.....almost exactly like my X1.
Cant wait to hear more details about this.

I just noticed the remote in the picture. Dear Luxman...please can you make a universal remote to work with all your components! The thought of having to use yet another remote is rather sad. Also I wonder if this will be Roon ready? I guess it will if it uses a Lumin backbone.

That's very interesting. Thank you Peter for sharing.
