I see that Luxman power amps have an input selector on front panel. Nice.

Is it ok if balanced inputs are connected to streamer/DAC with volume control and unbalanced inputs to AVR for HT usage - at the same time, using the input selector on amp to choose the active input?

For some (probably most) amps it is not permited to use/connect both balanced and unbalanced inputs at the same time even if they have an input selector - e.g. Moon 860A v2. It is very clearly written in the Moon's manual. I haven't found anything similar for Luxman.

That's the good part. Input selector is not on the back - it's on the front panel.
