Wireless Access Point vs Powerline Adapter

I use wireless networking in my home. The router, NAS, and MinimServer (SonicTransporter) are located in a different room from listening room. The listening room does not have the Ethernet cable running to the router. So I currently use the powerline adapter to connect the Lumin to the network. Would this be a bad configuration since music streaming is via the powerline which could have noise feeding the streamer?

The alternative is to use the wireless access point to turn the Lumin into a wireless streamer. Will this provide cleaner sound quality?

If anyone has tested or has another solution. Please share your thoughts. Thanks
    Jim

Re: Wireless Access Point vs Powerline Adapter

You don't have to change it if it's working for you. Between the two, I'd prefer 5GHz wireless access point (use different SSID (name) for 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi in the router). You need to have WiFi access if you want to use Lumin app on iPad anyway.
