T2/LUMIN App - Analog balance issue
Hello, I've been having a recurring problem with the Analog balance control using the LUMIN App controlling the T2.
If I slide it all the way to the left, the sound comes only from the left speaker.
If I slide it all the way to the right, I still get sound from both speakers, maybe slightly less from the left but the sound image stays between the speakers.
I've tried adjusting the volume up and down, both in the app and through the preamp. I've tried turning the volume control on and off, Leedh volume control on and off, adjusting max. volume, and once in a while something that I do restores proper balance adjustment functionality. But it inevitably finds its way back to this glitch. (Without having changed anything in the meantime. I've had the T2 for a few years now and I haven't experienced this issue until recently.)
No tweaking of the settings today was able to revert it back to proper functioning. Has anyone else had this issue, and what might the fix be?
Thanks in advance!

Re: T2/LUMIN App - Analog balance issue
I retested this and did not find any anomaly.
Please factory reset the unit in Lumin app About T2.
After that, enable Volume Control and Leedh Processing Volume, and recheck the volume level before you play anything. Balance should be 0 . Check that the voice is at the center (assuming the room and speaker setup gives that). Then adjust the balance as necessary again.Peter Lie

Re: T2/LUMIN App - Analog balance issue
Tried the reset and it is better, but still - when I have it all the way to the left I still hear a little from the right speaker and vice versa when I try all the way to the right. I don't recall ever noticing this before.
I think I can live with it, and not sure if it even affects the sound when I only have it set 3 or 4 clicks to one side. Just seems odd, and I'm wondering if it should be doing this.
Is there a chance that trying the hard pin-reset on the back will do something that pressing the factory reset button on the iPad doesn't?
Thanks!

Re: T2/LUMIN App - Analog balance issue
This is normal and expected. One click is just 0.5dB. All the way to either side means -10dB only, which is not going to mute the sound from one speaker (which is neither the intention nor necessary for the balance feature).
Hardware reset pin is more thorough, but I don't think it will affect the balance behavior.Peter Lie

Re: T2/LUMIN App - Analog balance issue
Thanks, Peter. I guess I never really listened for that before this little glitch showed up. But again, it is working as intended now and I am very happy with the sound. I consider the issue to be resolved. Much appreciated!

Well, I want to share an experience about possible break-in... I have my k03-xd for about 1 year now and recently got into playing a lot of CDs (incl. SACD) which I might have done about 50 times...
