Question using T2 as a streamer only

I recently purchased a very high-end DAC and now want to use my T2 only as a streamer. I also have a Nucleus+, which I use as my Roon Core. I subscribe to both Qobuz and Tidal. While I understand that I will be using the T2's BNC digital audio output for the connection to my new DAC, I have a specific question regarding the Lumin T2 and MQA. This new DAC does not support MQA (the manufacturer believes MAQ degrades the quality of the resultant audio). Is there some setting among the T2 and the Nucleus+ which will enable me to listen to a fully-unfolded MQA stream?

Thanks!

Assuming that you cannot send a digital MQA-decoded-signal to your new DAC, don’t feel too bad. MQA is on the way out so you will no longer need Tidal; just keep Qobuz and save yourself some money.

The final unfold for MQA has to come from the DAC so if you bypass the Lumin's MQA capable DAC you will lose it.

1. You have the choice of USB output or BNC output from the T2 to external DAC. In Lumin app, choose the output type as needed. For BNC output, you may need a 1.5m BNC to RCA coaxial cable. If you play DSD files, or use Roon to do DSD upsampling, you'll need to use USB output.

2. In Roon, enable MQA Core Decoder, and set Lumin MQA Capabilities to Renderer Only. You get the MQA Core decoding (first unfold) this way. There is no way to have full MQA decoding without a MQA DAC.
