Re: Lumin X1 Favorite Power cord?
I have a Shunyata Sigma Digital on my Lumin X1. Works fine, but it is the only power cord I have used on it.

Re: Lumin X1 Favorite Power cord?
I would image that the umbilical will have a greater impact on sound than the IEC cord.

Re: Lumin X1 Favorite Power cord?
I did read an review ( dont remember where it was ) but i do remember that it stated the Westminster Lab making an umbilical cord that should be pretty good.

Re: Lumin X1 Favorite Power cord?
I'm interested in Audio Sensibility's upgrade but at $1K don't want to throw money away as well. I can use that money for some really nice fishing tackle! Curious of anyone using this upgrade....

Although we do not endorse third party accessories, here's the description that Audio Sensibility posted here before. In this thread there were also some user feedback.

Re: Lumin X1 Favorite Power cord?
Ozzy..the Lessloss C-MARK Entropic is specifically made for digital source gear. it made a significant improvement in my sound. That being said...I will probably try something else in time ...

Re: Lumin X1 Favorite Power cord?
Got the Galileo SX today after a battle with Fed Ex... but that's another story.
First few minutes listening, I must say the music sounds louder. Any idea how long break in takes?

Re: Lumin X1 Favorite Power cord?
I own the "lesser" T2. With it, I am using a Shunyata Delta power cord, which is both nicely flexible and appears to function quite well. Let me add, though, with these Lumins one must consider all three cords as integral to their ultimate output. For Ethernet, I am using a Wireworld Starlight Cat 8 cable, and for analog output, I am using a customized -- with two silver conductors / 1 copper conductor -- Kimber Kable Silver Streak w/WBT AG terminators. Altogether, I am very pleased with what I am hearing when I listen to music streamed from Tidal HD through my Luxul AV Ethernet switch and Arris cable modem.

I upgraded the power supply on my Gigafoil v4 to a Weiss PSU 102. It’s very nice step up. But with the new model, you’re looking at $2000 before even investing in a SOTA linear power supply.
