In Germany there was a moderate (considering the cost explosion of chips and other material these days) price increase from € 2,200 to € 2,500. Don't know about the US market.

Hi,
This is my first post in this forum , i am very interested in this streamer because of the DSD 256 up-sampling ,,, any feedback regrading this feature,
also i suppose it do native DSD output ?
Thanks in advancd

Lumin (and Linux) native DSD compatibility is dependent on the USB controller and the firmware inside the DAC.

Which DAC are you using?

I am planing to use it with AudioGD DI20HE connected to AudioGD R7 through I2S ,, if Lumin U2 Mini is better i may connect it directly to the R7 Dac through the USB
It use Amanero Combo 384 USB Interface

Unless you have manually upgraded the DI-20HE Amanero firmware to 2006be10 or later, DSD256 / DSD512 won't work from Lumin or any Linux-based streamer.

How do I set custom settings on Lumin T2. Streaming Qobuz sounds great with custom set to off but want to improve sound of my CD's that I stream through a Network Hard Drive with Lumin. Is there a specific setting for CD's? Thanks

If you're using digital output, please keep Re-sampling disabled.

You may disable any unused services such as Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, AirPlay "Lumin Streaming".

I am connected with analog cables. There are no specific settings under custom for CD's?

If you wish to try upsampling ripped CDs then just leave everything else at 'Native' and change 44.1kHz to either 176.4kHz or DSD.

Try both and see which you prefer.

You can also change PCM Output Bit Depth to 24-bit. Again - see which you prefer.

If you like what you hear when upsampled, then you may as well change the 48Khz settings to match.
