    Lumin U1 power supply upgrade

I’m sure this has been touched on before but for $500 is this a worth while upgrade or just something nice. I seen a few posts where some claim 15-20% increase in performance. Thoughts about it.

    Thanks, Mike

I put a SR Blue Fuse in mine and thought that made a nice difference. I thought the X1 power supply is like $2k?

Does anyone here have experience putting Lumin's X1 power supply on the Lumin's U1? If so what results were observed?

Peter, thank you for your response. Does the X1 upgrade to the U1 include a new umbilical cord to the U1?

    Yes, a special DC umbilical cable is provided for compatibility with Lumin U1 / S1 / A1 / T1.

Re: Lumin U1 power supply upgrade

    Bonjour

je vous réponds depuis la France, je viens de faire une mise à niveau d'un lumin D1 en essayant 2 alimentations linéaires

    - Sbooster de Chez nos voisins Néerlandais

    https://www.sbooster.com/

    - Paul hynes SR4

    https://paul-hynes-design.jimdosite....cts/sr4-black/

Contrairement à ce que l'on pourrait croire et bien le Sbooster est parfaitement calibré pour le lumin et c'est la solution que j'ai retenue.

    bien cordialement

The upgrade is more focused on the amount of musical information than changing the tonal of the system. Try to get in touch your nearest dealer and ask for a demo.
