    Dear Manufacturer!

I own a Lumin T2 network audio player. I am very pleased with the sound of the device.
Please help solve the problem below.
After a few hours of listening, the device hangs, the Ipaden prints that the connection is offline. You need to remove the Lumin software, reinstall it, restart your device, router.

    My system is:
Musical Fidelity M6 500i dual mono amplifier
    Synology DiskStation DS218
    CAT 7 ethernet cable
    Router: Tenda 956E50
    iPad Air 2
    Software version: 14.4.1
    NAS: Minimserver

    Sincerely:
    Károly Csoba

    Re: Lumin T2 Minimserver offline

    Dear Peter!

His proposal to end offline mode was absolutely good.

    The second problem:
When you add a new folder or files, the following appears:
    Error Please select LUMIN OK

    What I found:
Please shut down your Lumin, iPad, Roon Core computer, and all network devices. Turn on the WiFi router and network switches / access points. Wait 5 minutes. Then turn everything on.

Of course, you can breathe life into it again.

Surely their manufacturer understands that, especially at such a high price, this operational uncertainty is unacceptable.

For this high price, I decided to buy a stable device without problems or forums.

I bought your product, not Linn's, not Naim's.

I am satisfied with the sound of the device, so I ask you to finally solve the problem.

It is a very good solution to run the forum, but the buyer needs a solution right away,

Please work out the help accordingly.

While listening to music, such a technical error is unacceptable.

    Re: Lumin T2 Minimserver offline

    Dear Peter!

The Lumin app on the iPad freezes (Ipad Air 2, software 14.5.1) while the Lumin T2 plays the songs.
Presumably there is a problem in the communication between the iPad and the Lumin app because it works from the android phone.

    Dear Peter!

I uninstalled Lumin, reinstalled it, and turned off the iOS iCloud setting for Lumin, though sometimes the playlist disappears.
If I turn off the router or turn off the iPad or use the forgotten network feature on the iPad, the playlist returns.

    Sincerely:

    Re: Lumin T2 Minimserver offline

Please double tap iPad home button, swipe away Lumin app, and relaunch it whenever something is missing in the Lumin app.

If you have a 5GHz WiFi router, please change the SSID (name) for 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands to be different, and change the iOS setting WiFi connection to the 5GHz SSID. If things are not improving, try the 2.4GHz SSID.

    Dear Peter!

As suggested, the 5G and 2.4.G connections have been named separately. He even finds and disconnects from time to time. However, switching to the other connection returns the playlist, but he also throws it down and down.

    Re: Lumin T2 Minimserver offline

    Dear Peter!

Unfortunately, the situation remains the same when you drop the playlist as other internet programs still work, so there is a connection.
When to expect a new version that fixes this bug.

So far I haven’t applied because I’ve been experimenting, trying all the variations all the way through.

If you have an Android device, please try Lumin Android app.

Otherwise, please try Linn Kazoo app.

    Re: Lumin T2 Minimserver offline

    Dear Peter!

The program was also discontinued on my androios phone, the LINN Kazoo program produced the same. I also tried the TEAC HR Streamer, the playlist disappeared here as well.

Thank you very much for your efforts to resolve this issue.

    Sincerely:

    Re: Lumin T2 Minimserver offline

Lumin Android app 4.0.1 is very recently uploaded to Play Store. It should not be discontinued unless you are using an ancient Android phone.

For the playlist disappearing problem, are you powering off the Lumin when not using it? The playlists are not saved immediately after editing. It takes more than 60 seconds for the save to occur.
