Roon Nucleus+ with local files
Hi. Has anyone here run a direct comparison listening to the same local flac/wav file played
directly from L1 to your Lumin player (using the Lumin app)
vs
via Roon Nucleus+ to your Lumin player as an endpoint (using the Roon app)

I use the L1 with my X1 player. I tried Roon for a while but let the subscription expire. My configuration depended on an iMac to run Roon which was not very convenient. At this point, I’m satisfied with the L1 and the Lumin app. Would embrace Roon if I didn’t need to get more hardware._______________

When not using Roon, remember to turn off Roon Ready in Lumin settings for listening test (along with any other unused features).
AFAIK Nucleus is mainly a standard 7th generation NUC motherboard with a custom fanless case, with the software being slightly different.Peter Lie
