LUMIN D2 - Screen black and app can't find device

have a LUMIN D2 with SBooster and all of a sudden after an app update the screen/display has gone black and the app cannot find the device.

I’ve tried powering everything down and switching it all on again to no avail.

when I first got it (bought used) I had a similar issue insomuch as I couldn’t get it to come on, I then powered things down and up again it finally worked and has been fine for 6 months.

The Ethernet connection lights are on, one side is solid the other flashing so there seems to be some power to the unit.

anyone had any similar issues or can offer any advice. I’m hoping it’s not broke as I can’t really afford to replace it at the moment.

I have powered it off and back on in the the suggested order and the problem remains.

all advice appreciated.

First of all, please restore the factory power supply and see if it can power up.

I don't have the factory power supply to restore. I bought it with the Sbooster already fitted.

Anything else I should try?
 
can you please tell me who the UK distributor is?

It seems strange that it stopped working directly after i had did an update on the app. It could be coincidence but what that in mind do you not have any other suggestions as to what i could try before I send it off to be fixed?

I tried the reset via the back of the unit and it had no effect. I don't seem to have the option to reset via the app on the 'about' page. Maybe because the app can't find the unit.

It might be a coincidence that it stopped working after the update but i can't help thinking it had something to do with it.

I looked at what devices are connected to my router and they just give mac addresses, when I do a look up there's just one that isn't recognised so can't tell if that's the Lumin.

Looks like I'll need to send it of for repair which is a pain in the backside.

Have you try to reset your router and network ? , sometimes that can help on Lumin.
