    Lumin X1 Power Supply Question

Should X1 owners leave the power supply (and hence the power to the streamer) on all the time, even when not in use?

Re: Limit X1 Power Supply Question

In summer, when it's really hot, I turn it off.

Re: Limit X1 Power Supply Question

I think most users leave it on and use the Idle Sleep function.

Re: Limit X1 Power Supply Question

When it is time to stop listening I pause the song, and turn off the amps. For both my S1 and X1, I always leave them on.

Thanks. The power supply is a bit warm but I guess that’s okay?

Re: Lumin X1 Power Supply Question

I did the same thing for my previous A1 for about 2 years without issues.

Current X1 for about 6 months and still okay

Yes I think it is normal..!!! In my case I have A1 and it is ON since one year now without problems.

I always leave the Power supply ON and idle after my daily listening.

Re: Limit X1 Power Supply Question

When I’m done listening, I clear the music list and the unit goes to “sleep”. I leave the PS on all the time with both the S1 (previously) and X1.

There are two toroidal transformers inside any Lumin X1 / U1 / S1 / A1 / T1 LPS. They do get warm normally.

Re: Limit X1 Power Supply Question

I being energy conscious ($$$) I turn off the X1 along with my other equipment when not in use. I mean it does have a power supply with a on/off button?
