d1 issues - will not fully boot
i have been having intermittent issues with my lumin not connecting to app. timid at i tried restarting the lumin but it still had some old track number on the screen after reboot and no connect. i rebooted the wifi bridge but nothing. so i tried the reset button and held it down while i restarted the unit. it said resetting and reboot on the screen but when it restarts it shows the lumin logo and then just the right circle and then freezes there. i have tried resetting twice to the same effect. just the circle showing on the screen. network lights are orange and green. is the unit restarted but just with an empty playlist? i still can not connect with my app..

Re: d1 issues - will not fully boot
i reset my phone and the lumin app is now connecting. success. sorry for the noise. btw i have been having a lot of issues which require resetting, mostly what happens is a situation where i add a full album to the playlist but it only plays the first song and then stops. nothing i try can get it to continuous play without the reset... any ideas would be wonderful. thanks

Re: d1 issues - will not fully boot
if it plays the first track then stop, please power cycle the Lumin and try a different album.
If problem persists, please try using a different power supply (3A or above at 12V) for the D1.Peter Lie

Re: d1 issues - will not fully boot
Thanks peter, I don't think the issue is with my power supply, its an Uptone js-2 which has 12v 5amp power available.
This is my standard sunday frustration. I open lumin, it has lost my qobuz login AGAIN for the hundredth time, i log in, go to discover, pick a new jazz album, add the full album to the playlist, its starts the first song and then from there its very slow to add new albums, i cannot skip forward or pause its just playing, i choose another album and add to playlist and it just never comes over, i go to playlist to force it to a new song or album and it does not respond for like 30sec-1 minute. finally i get it to move to a new song or album and now it will only play one song at a time. for the rest of the morning im hosed into single song mode.
Ive got to get rid of this lumin app and go back to roon, but i hate keeping my server running the whole week just to listen on sunday morning...

Re: d1 issues - will not fully boot
Stellablues, may I ask about your experience with Roon? I've never used it, but I seem to have problems every day with the Lumin app and the D2. Either it takes a very long time (if at all) for the app to show anything on the iPad screen after the D2 is turned on and the Lumin app is selected, or the "Discover", "Favorites" etc. categories lose all of the regular information including my saved albums and tracks and are replaced by meaningless titles, or I open the app and the instant I touch the Qobuz tab, the app disappears and all I see is the iPad's start screen again. (No similar problem with TIDAL.)
Not sure what combination of hardware/software/network issues are contributing to the continuing disappointing performance, or whether they would cease to be issues when using Roon instead of the Lumin app. Any experience that you can share would be much appreciated.

The CH would be a very Different sound than the MSB. If you like the MSB have you thought of adding a MSB amp? I am in the camp using a preamp is better in most instance. If I'm not mistaken MSB...
