Connecting TV to Lumin X1
Peter,
I’m considering Dutch & Dutch 8c speakers. I’d love to connect my TV to them. With only an Ethernet input on the X1, is there any way to do this? The speakers only have an AES-EBU digital input.
Thanks.Speakers: Dutch & Dutch 8C, Franco Serblin Accordo
Integrated System: KLH Twenty Plus System

Re: Connecting TV to Lumin X1
My initial thought is this. You'll need to check the details to see whether this is valid or not.
Use miniDSP SHD Studio as a digital preamp for the D&D 8C via AES.
Connect the TV to it via optical.
Connect the X1 to it via SPDIF (via a 75 ohm BNC to SPDIF coaxial cable), or simply use a USB cable. Use Lumin app to switch the X1 output to SPDIF or USB respectively.
By the way we have multiple users with U1 Mini AES output to D&D 8C.
For further help you may ask in Roon Community Forum as they have many D&D 8C users there, with official presence.Peter Lie

Because I'm a client of Topper Jewelers, they gave me a 20% discount off the retail price, so paid USD $440 for this watch. As for TAG Heuers, I lost interest in the brand when they started...
