Oh Cornwall III, how I've missed thee ....

Well, I finally dragged my Cornwall III's upstairs and hooked them up (photos to follow). I've been dying to try my Carver Black Beauty 20 wpc amp (thank you Jeff!). Holy cow! Mark aka MDP will know what I'm talking about, but these easy to drive, dynamic and fun speakers are wonderful. I need to try the Job 225 on them as well as special amp Trung built and sent to me. I have to apologize to Trung for not getting to it sooner, but I have no excuse now. Trung, thank you for being so patient. I am having a blast with these babies.

You know it just dawned on me on how the O96s sound like. The are refined klipsch's

It's funny - you had to carry your klispch upstairs. I have to carry my Devores downstairs.

That's funny Jock. I want to drag Bruce to check Devore out. I'd love to get a taste of them. Something tells me that the Job on the 096 will be outstanding.

I think you're absolutely correct with this description. After hearing the Devore's at RMAF this year I walked away with a similar feeling.

Everytime you hook up a low power tube amp to high eficiency speakers, some magic happens. Definately try some 300B amps !

I have a pair of ASL Wave monos that sound great on the Cornwalls. I need to hear some Devores too.
