HiFi: My Speaker of the Year 2020. Klipsch Heresy IV

sorry, but this guy is so ridiculous. filled with hyperbole and treated as a "reviewer" by some. everything "slays" the other, etc. he has a new reference more often than JV.

that all said my good friend loves his new version Cornwalls on Naim (he tried your 590 amp Joe and didn't find it a good match).

I’m surprised that you guys weren’t crazy about the Luxman 590. Naim would certainly be a little more exciting on them I’m sure.

All the newer Klipsch speakers seem to be voiced on the smoother and certainly less aggressive side, giving a much more musical presentation. I’d love to get these or the Cornwall. I miss my CW 3’s sometimes.

My speaker of the year: Magico A5.

With some thoughtful pairing, this speaker is the new benchmark for $20k speakers. Easy to position, but rewards galore when you spend a little time dialing them in will reward. Big enough to fill a large room, small enough to play friendly in a modest space.

And there are other opinions.

Klipsch Heresy IV Review - YouTube

With measurements for those who like (from 16 minutes).

Floorstanding??? With their size it´s impossible to them to replicate the true scale of a living performance. I can´t stand small floorstanding that make me "look" down. I hate the sensation of sound coming from the floor.
When someone finds these ugly speakers "so gorgeous with their wood veneers have me enjoying just looking at them", sorry but i can´t trust in his opinion about sound.
They are not for me and i don´t have any interest in listening them.
