So my wife and I got tired of Chicago and moved to a home in the mountains outside of Denver (Golden). Any members reside out this way? Would love to get in touch and get to know some fellow Coloradans! My first project is to build a music room/office and wondering if anyone local had some referrals/audio consultants to point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Welcome! One of the first things I would do is drop over and tour the factory at YG in Arvada, probably about 10 minutes away from you. They have an amazing room, and Gary Mulder is one of the good guys in audio. Then travel up to Louisville and visit Boulder Amplifiers. Steve there is a good contact. I'll let others point you to the local dealers and consultants. Make sure you eat at Bob's Atomic Burgers in town.

Welcome to Colorado! You picked a lovely spot on the northwest side of Denver. Get used to the altitude, drink plenty of water and enjoy.

My wife and I moved to Larkspur, Colorado, from NE Ohio, nearly 3 years ago. We're in the front range halfway between Denver and Colorado Springs. Compared to where we lived in Ohio, the winters are much more enjoyable in Colorado.

I've done business with ListenUp (the Colorado Springs location) while building out a home theater and upgrading the distributed A/V network in the home we purchased. While shopping for speakers for our 2 channel system I had the opportunity to visit several Denver based shops and ended up doing business with Soundings Fine Audio and Video (Greenwood Village, CO, on the southeast side of Denver). Suncoast Audio is no stranger to me either!

Shoot me a PM if you'd like to discuss- Matt

Welcome to Colorado! We live in Salida, a small mountain town 3 hours SW of Denver. Great place to live. The stereo seems to sound better out here. :). I’m a long time refugee from Chicago area (Edison Park and Elmhurst). Not sure I‘d ever move back.

Welcome to beautiful Colorado! My wife and I moved to Colorado Springs three years ago and love it here! Hope you and your wife come to love living here, also.
