The Legacy 2-channel amp Bill used at Axpona sounded really good, IMO. See any pricing on this amp?

I believe the retail price on my Powerbloc2 when I picked it up was a little under $2K ($1850?).

Legacy or any Legacy dealer can tell you exact prices and other details.

Pricing will be higher on the i-V 7 depending upon configuration (7ch, 5ch, 4ch, etc....); details as they exist today are in the video.

Again, check with Legacy or any dealer directly.

So basically 4 ICEpower 1200AS modules in a box. Since each 1200AS is power supply + buffer + power stage all in a single board, I see no reason to have them all together in a box except to save some space and power cords maybe. Chassis looks nice, though. :)

Apollon has something similar for 2700 euros.

Assuming the layout and boards are exactly what this other manufacturer has done, I see your point.

I'd still love to see the implementation that Legacy actually has done before I draw conclusions.

There currently is only 1200AS using the new ICE Edge technology, so 4 x 1200AS is for sure. Maybe they added some extra buffer board for house sound, but I doubt it.
