Hegel music systems p30a preamp review

I wonder if the p30 & H30a maintain what I'd call the Hegal house sound? Maybe I'll have a chance to hear at AXPONA. In reading the word "organic" was used which is not an adjective I'd use for any Hegal I've heard so far. The brand has its attributes but organic is not one I've noticed. The 590 pretty much gets out of the classic Hegal sound but organic still didn't come to mind.

Re: Hegel P30A preamp review

We will have the Hegel P30A and H30A in one of our rooms at the Florida show. Come listen!

I have the Hegel H30 powering Magnepan 20.7 and am curious about any improvements with the H30a.

The H30A and P20a will be powering the Clarisys Minuet’s at the Florida Audio Expo in room 915. I’ll let you know.

I don't know but something I noted is the H30a is less expensive than the H30 was and the H30a would have been subject to the inflation, so I wonder how the H30a could be better yet less expensive by a good amount.

Not sure that’s accurate.

H30 - $17,000 (last price)
H30A - $18,995

I think you are right I was going from memory in a review and they may have been used as monoblocks which would bring the price up to what I was thinking.
