Thanks Mike. Obviously, I love mine. I think it plays way above it's price. It definitely has great synergy with the Salons, and I'm sure it would work well with about any speaker.

Re: Hegel H-30 Review by Soundstage
Mark,
I think the Hegel H30 Stereo Amp is one of the great values in high-end audio. It hangs right there in performance with best-in-class AB amplifiers.

Indeed Mark. It is a heck of an amp for the money - not that $15K is little money!

Re: Hegel H-30 Review by Soundstage
I know the tas review did a complimentary comparison of the H360 and H30 but I really wonder how different the sound would be using the h360 as a pre into a H30 driving a pair of Salon2's?

Re: Hegel H-30 Review by Soundstage
Just my opinion, yes, it would work, but, no, you wouldn't get full potential from the H30. I have no doubt it would drive the Salon II better. If I could spend the money on the H30, I'd definitely try to swing a P30.
The Salon can be bi-amped, I wonder how the set up would sound with the 360 on top and a H20 on bottom.
