to a 47 year Railroad career that is.

As a third generation railroader my time has come to retire at months end. With vacation time left to burn this coming Wed will be my last day as I turn my company car over, in what might be a Nor'easter snow storm, only fitting !

So as we say in the rail industry, 'pull the pin and head into the sunset'. Hopefully the next chapter will be as rewarding as the past 47 years.........

Congratulations Dave!

That’s an awesome run. Enjoy your retirement in great health and wealth.

Congrats, and enjoy every moment of your retirement.

One of these days when things get better we can get together since we are so close.

Congratulations. Glad you are join those of us who are fortunate to get out with good health and time to enjoy life.

gents, thanks for the kind words and Joe, great music vid, Thanks !

it's bittersweet for I can honestly say I truly loved my railroading career. It all started 65 years ago sitting on my dads lap at a tower he worked 'RB' outside of Buffalo........

Congratulations.
Hope you have a long, happy and healthy retirement.
I'll be pulling the pin on my RR job in two years or less.

What an awesome photo. Great memories I’m sure. Thank you for sharing with us.

Dave .... congrats on your retirement! Enjoy it in good health. Which railroad did you work for. I used to cover the Class 1 RRs as an equity analyst back in the 2002-2008 timeframe.
