This Gates Note is the most comprehensive summary that I have read on the Covid-19 to-date. It tells us what we know and don’t know about the virus and discusses five areas of innovation, namely: treatment, vaccines, testing, contact tracing, and opening up) that are necessary to allow societies to go back to normal.

Bill Gates warned about the severe risk of a global virus pandemic in his TED Talk in 2015. He’s a bit ahead of the curve compared to many others.
