What amp are you going to use with these (hint I heard it from a super secret double probation source that Mr. Mike might be getting in the Blue Hawaii). You have got to hear them with that amplifier

The Woo WA33 arrives on Friday. The Abyss 1266 is on order but they have a huge backlog. I won't see them until October / November unfortunately.

i've been enjoying the Stax 009S/MSB Select Electrostatic Headphone amp combo since March; pretty awesome sounding and a fun alternative to my big boy speaker set up. Originally Posted by Randy Myers

there is something very intimate and special about the headphone musical experience at this level.

I did make the decision to simplify my life by moving to a headphone set up. I haven't found the right amp / headphone / headphone technology combination yet but I firmly believe its out there waiting for me to find it. Originally Posted by Mike Lavigne
