We finally got our shipment of multiple pairs of Harbeth 30XD’s in today! We’ve had incredible demand for these speakers. We have inventory - for now!

All pairs in Tamo Ash. Perdy!

Thanks. Our phone has been ringing off the wall for the new XD series.

I can imagine. I love my 30.2 40th Anniversary, but I like the Tamo Ash color more than the Silver Eucalyptus.

Other than finish, how do they differ from the 40th Anniversary's?

The new 30XD’s are a solid aluminum, sealed box cabinet, using diamond coated beryllium tweeters, ceramic drivers and external crossovers.

Just kidding [emoji14]....no changes.

I love those 30XD speakers. They sound great - especially with Naim.

Ha! Thanks. The cables are:

Super Lumina Speaker Cables | Naim Audio

Really kind of sort of have to use Naim speaker cables with Naim amps, or at least something made for Naim.
I'm using SL speaker cables with my 30.2's. I'm upgrading to the Naim 500 system but keeping the 300 DR. Just got the NAC 552 and it's awesome.
I've upgraded my SL IC's to Chord Musics. IMO they are worth the price.
I'm going to keep the SL speaker cables.

Come on! What's not to like. Beautiful sounding and looking speakers.

What are the speaker cables Mike?

Very cool.

I'm curious what music you are using, Mike, so that you don't get a copyright strike from YouTube. Is the music from YT's selection of music that can be licensed?

Also, your set up in the room with respect to the speaker positioning, toe, and use of platform is very similar to mine.

Last, where did you get those cool pieces of slate? ;)

Thanks much.

YouTube doesn’t care what music you use unless they get a complaint from the copyright owner. The way it works is that they pay the owner of the music $$ instead of paying you to post content. If I made videos every week of me talking about gear from a tiny New York apartment and we had tens of thousands of followers, then we are compensated. But the minute you use music, that would be compensation goes to the rightful owner of the music content. Fine by me!

We like some toe in with the Harbeth’s and we have them in Ton Trager stands with a piece of slate I got from a marble/tile scrap place. I found a piece, they cut two pieces to size and off I went.

P.S. the haze you see in the video is because we had the door open. It was a nice “cooler” morning here in FL.
