Gryphon Diablo 300 Review

So you need a mini U-Haul and a hand truck for the Diablo and the "loaner" speakers. That way you avoid the heavy lifting. No big deal, go for it.:woot: It's a short drive.

I don't think the RI-100 is in the league of any of those others, including the SIA-025.

When I had it in the store, I played it for a few weeks and it was not great. Definitely no SIA-025 or Diablo 300.

So you meant that Gryphon Diablo 300 was not as good as Passlabs Int 250 ? I'm thinking about switching from Mcintosh Int to Diablo 300 or Passlabs Int 250 so I'm looking for advises.

The Diablo 300 compared to my Pass Int-60 has better resolution and live like staging. There again it is more than twice the cost. I have never heard the Int-250. The Int-60 was better than the Ri-100 in a side by side comparison in my set up.

I asked Passlabs about Int60 and Int250 and they answered that below 30w Int60 was slightly superior to Int250. I'm very close to pick Diablo 300 the next month :D

Yes, the Int-60 stays in class A to 30 watts while the Int-250 slips out into a/b around the 18 watt mark. The Int-60 is the sweet spot in the Pass lineup with its high class A bias.
