Diablo 300 vs Pass
Has anyone compared the Diablo 300 to Pass Labs with Magnepans (3.7)?
At first I was leaning towards the Pass XP22 with X260.8 monos, but is it worth the money? 🤔
Gryphon is cheaper here in 🇸🇪 than in the states while Pass is more pricey so the Pass combo is twice the price of the Diablo.
What are your thoughts?

You can’t go wrong with either amp. Buy the one that you or your wallet prefers and enjoy the music.

Re: Diablo 300 vs Pass
Mark,
The Pass has the power for demanding speakers like my Maggies and the Studio2. It also has nice mid. The Diablo sound a bit darker and the bass is awesome. It delivers the best bass I got from my Maggies.Jim

Re: Diablo 300 vs Pass
It's an apples to oranges comparison. They don't sound alike. For my application and my particular system (see my signature) I prefer the int 250. But the D300 is a killer sounding amp. You might prefer it with your system. Let your ears be your guide.
Amplifier: Pass Labs INT 250 integrated.
DAC/Streamer: MSB Discrete Dual Power Supply.
Server: Roon Nucleus with lifetime subscription.
Speakers: Harbeth Super HL 5+ 40th Anniversary
Model.
Headphones/Amp: Focal Stellia phones, NAIM Uniti Atom Headphone Edition headphone amp/music player/server/streamer.
Cables: AudioQuest Rocket 88 speaker cables,
Mackenzie interconnects.
Speaker Stands: HiFi Man.

Re: Diablo 300 vs Pass
My two cents worth: I listened to Pass INT 250 with Sonus Faber Amati speakers. Gorgeous. Warm and rich sound. Then I heard Gryphon Diablo with Magico S3 mk2 (and also with Dynaudio Contour 60s). Close call but the balls of the Gryphon (honestly: you just feel the power and richness of the music) and the transparency of the Magico did it for me
Digital: Innuos Zenith Mk3 Server + MSB Premier DAC with Powerbase
Amp: Gryphon Pandora + Gryphon Antileon Evo Stereo
Speakers: Magico S3 MkII
Cables: MIT SL-Matrix 36 XLR interconnect cables + 70 speaker cables; AQ Diamond & Vodka ethernet cables
Power: AQ Niagara 5000 + AQ Tornado power cables
Headphones (travel): Sennheiser Momentum + Chord Mojo

Re: Diablo 300 vs Pass
Something exciting about the sound that Gryphon amps produce. Energy. Richness. Wide soundstage. Details. Balls. So fast as well but also huuuge bass. Magico speakers give a transparent pass-thru of this sound.

Re: Diablo 300 vs Pass
Just out of interest, I have had X260.8's with my 3.7i's for about two months now. Love them. XP22 should be showing up this month, so I will let you know how that goes.
