RIP Meatloaf and Jim Steinman. Was a huge fan of the Bat Out of Hell album. Every song was terrific. Loved the energy and excitement. Takes me back to my High School years.

For me, it’s Bat Out of Hell II. I was in high school and couldn’t stop listening to it. CDs were expensive back then in my home country and I had to save up to buy it. Lots of memories with all the songs from this album. My favorite is “objects in the rear view mirror may appear closer than they are”.

    Re: RIP Meat Loaf

Jim Steinman had a solo album that was pretty good, came out back in early 80'safter him & Meat had a tiff. I liked Jim's original version of Rock & Roll Dreams Come Through better than Meatloaf's cover on BOOH2.

Agree! Hope they´re both in peace!

Jim Steinman was a genius! He used the piano in rock and roll like no one has did.
All the rhythm and energy were born on the piano.

    Re: RIP Meat Loaf

Tidal had a playlist for Meatloaf, I played a couple tracks, they were supposed to be96k butsounded terrible. I haven't had a chance to go back to my album on HD to see if the album was that bad or not. Also, Paradise by the Dashboard Light was missing.
