Oops, didn't look at the calendar

My wife and I have been on an RV road trip for a while now. The last part of the trip was through the Black Hills and Bad Lands of South Dakota. Very much enjoyed Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial.

The only thing that I forgot about was, it was Bike Week in Sturgis. We were staying in an RV park in Hill City and still visited Keystone, Sturgis, Deadwood along with in town Hill City. It was a very crowded area and a bit noisy as you could imagine.

Fun to see even though, I would never have set out to visit the area at that time.

No tattoos Dave. I waited to have my alcohol once I was back in the RV for the day.

Started in Wesley Chapel. Up to Chicago to begin Route 66 to end at the Santa Monica pier.

From there up the Pacific Coast Hwy to Washington. Took a ferry over to the Olympic Peninsula from Edmond.

Once we went around the peninsula headed east to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Beautiful town, I highly recommend seeing it and the Lake Coeur d'Alene.

On to Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton. From there the Blackhills and Badlands.

Currently in Missouri heading to Charlotte NC to visit family for a couple of days then back home.

After 2 months Donna and I are like the horse that knows where the barn is and wants to get back to its own stall. It was a wonderful trip but ready for our own bed.
