Last week's events were another major blow for global supply chains and now industry experts are warning businesses and consumers more delivery delays, shortages, and even more acute price hikes are coming. A series of disasters, including devastating floods in China and Europe, could result in empty grocery shelves, out-of-stock products, and prolonged shipping delays, exacerbating the already strained global supply chains. Western Europe and China’s Henan province - key transportation centers and home to several major businesses - are struggling to resume operations as the disasters have severely damaged railways used for the delivery of goods and raw materials in both regions. Companies in the supply chain industry reported that "water rushed into industrial areas extensively damaging facilities".

Hopefully you all realize these global economy issues are being created to aid with the great reset. There are no real climate change/global warming issues of any real threat or Obama would not have just purchased a $12 million waterfront property on Martha's Vineyard, which according to him will be under water in no time, or should have been already. Wake Up People, we are all being duped by the Globalists.

(and while they are now trying to put us all back in masks and locked down, Obama is throwing a 60th birthday party with 700 guests and Pearl Jam. Think they will all be masked up? Rules for us and Rules for them)

35 Celsius (95°F) here today, and it's hot, it's dry, you can't water the grass, water is rare, the economy is in rebound, the tech stocks are doing just great, revenues are up, jobs are up, real estate is up, cars are selling, music is still playing.

They transport icebergs to countries in need of water, they hire more firefighters, they build better stronger dams, restaurants are open, the food is excellent, we live in all comfort of all things and services. ...La vie en rose.

The WHO announced that people here should not get booster shots of second series shots because other countries don't have access to vaccines.

Regardless of how you feel about vaccinations, who is the WHO to demand the country that has developed and paid for most of the vaccines, should not use it to the fullest should the choose to.

A lot of people never imagined the world could ever reach this point. Many preferred to assume that this crisis would rapidly end and, eventually, things would come back to 'normal' and everyone's lives would be just fine somehow. But here we are in the second half of 2021, and conditions have never seemed worse. Global crises are getting aggravated at an alarming pace, and extreme weather conditions are leading to the destruction of millions of acres of agricultural land, where the food we consume all over the planet is produced, while thousands of people are also falling victim to the extraordinarily high temperatures. In Northern Mexico, a region known for its cattle farming and meat production, thousands of cows are facing starvation and death due to a ravaging drought.

97% of the scientists surveyed agreed that global temperatures had increased during the past 100 years; 84% said they personally believed human-induced warming was occurring, and 74% agreed that "currently available scientific evidence" substantiated its occurrence.

Last ice age was "only" 11,700 years ago and it was pretty damn cold.... Scientists have predicted that the global average temperature during the ice age was around 46 degrees Fahrenheit (7.8 degrees Celsius.) However, the polar regions were far colder, around 25 degrees Fahrenheit (14 degree Celsius) colder than the global average.

Who do we blame for that "warm up" and climate change?

I personally think we have way too many overly self confident and overly self assured scientists these days throwing their opinions around as if absolutely factual and often intertwined with some political agenda.... Please don't tell me that any change we make, whether it is the right or the wrong way to do things, does not cost a whole bunch of money and someone is not getting rich one way or another...

If they were always "right" there wouldn't be so many conflicting theories all the time...

Global warming’s symptoms vary wildly from hurricanes and flooding to desertification and fires. But all come from the buildup of gasses like carbon dioxide. The more carbon dioxide there is in the atmosphere, the warmer the world gets. Now, researchers have shown the opposite is also true.

A paper published in the journal Nature Geoscience confirms that a drop in carbon dioxide around 34 million years ago caused Earth to enter a period of global cooling, called an icehouse state.

Serge, the earth's climate is different today than it was hundred years ago...with 7.8 billion people and growing.
It's a combination of several factual factors; and it cannot be more evident than in China, India, and the United States of America (South too, Brazil Amazon forests, and North, Canada Oil Sands).

What is the percentage between human-made and natural elements I just don't know, I go with the flow of between extreme heat and deluges. Between I can hardly breathe with all the smoke of the fires and ICE cars, and my heart and brain are taking a beating.
Even my audio music listening concentration is affected; I kid you not.

Things that are no good for human health are certainly no good for human wealth (economics and finances and ecosystems and ecosocial human cultural entertainment and ecological).

So 74% of all scientists are "overly self confident and overly self assured scientists these days throwing their opinions around as if absolutely factual and often intertwined with some political agenda" - do you really believe this - if so your knowledge of the scientific community is on display for all to see...

"If they were always "right" there wouldn't be so many conflicting theories all the time" - please give the vocal minority any comment they can latch onto - regardless of how truthful it is & they do. You only have to see all the BS conspiracy theories about Covid vaccines to understand that...

The author is a general practitioner, and it's less than a serious scientific study. ...Same as above...the article that you did not read.

I won't even bother Bob... The agenda is clear and in another post last night, which was removed by Mike, in which there was a good description of MASS HYSTERIA and how it unravels in a society, global warming is one of those hot button topics.

In the end, you and I both know one thing: Trillions upon trillions will be spent, the emissions will never be reduced to zero as the new UN report will suggest (impossible with nearly 8 Billion global population and each one of us wanting and needing something and not willing to compromise) the Earth will still keep on surprising us just like it did long before Homo Sapiens started even pondering such questions with their "evolved" prefrontal cortex that allowed them to think but not learn from history very well...

In the end, you and I will both pay more in taxes, pay more for all the goods and pay a whole bunch more for energy in the decades to come. Some 50 years later, the science will still not able to draw parallels between the well documented heating and cooling cycles that the earth in tandem with the sun goes through... We will look at history of centuries of extremely cold and extremely hot periods and still wonder why Africa was once a lush and green place and why Antarctica was once a tropical land mass....
