A Saturday Afternoon
Exceptionally nice Northwest weather today; bit of yard work and cleaning up, off to a fun tavern with wife and friends for lunch and now sitting down for a listen, complete with warm amps...a great day!

Re: A Saturday Afternoon
Was in the store writing up quotes, processing orders and getting the used gear tested, photographed and posted up online for sale. Got home and listened to some music. Heading out soon for a late movie with the Mrs.

Re: A Saturday Afternoon
I woke to about 10 inches of wet snow. So I was out early doing some shoveling, letting the dog romp and building a snowman with my girls. Unusual for us to receive that much snow. I dread the slop and mud while it all melts and the ground dries.
I did manage to get some listening in.Aurender ACS10 w/Audioquest Diamond USB, Esoteric N05xd

Re: A Saturday Afternoon
Just be happy that you don't live in the frozen Tundra of Minnesota. It is cold, damp and dreary here. And once the sun goes down and the wind picks up you don't even want to get near a door or window. So glad I have the Pass amp and BAT pre to keep me warm and cozy.
I watched football and the Timberwolves beat the Pelican's in Basketball while listening to the Harry Belafonte at Carnegie Hall with my son who loved Belafonte. Now headed out for a late movie and drinks (they serve food and alcohol at the movie theater) with my son. Brrrr, its cold.My Gear- Mains System-Pass X250 amp, BAT VK-51se preamp, Luxman DA-06 DAC, Magnepan 1.6's, Thorens TD-145 TT, Dual Martin Logan Subs, Vintage Luxman T-110 Tuner, Cables-WW Platinum 7 USB, Cardas Parsec XLR, AQ Columbia DBS 72v XLR, Belden 8402 XLR.

Re: A Saturday Afternoon
Enjoying my new system, after letting it burn in all week I gave it the beans a bit today and really woke up the speakers. Finally nice to hear it bloom in nicely. Surprising what happens when you throw something together on a whim.

Re: A Saturday Afternoon
Started the day getting updated on world news together with the missus. And after the family left for a shopping date with friends, I headed for a dealer’s in a close-by town to listen to AG speakers. Got a taste of the Uno Fino, and made an appointment to check out the sweet spot Duo XDs next weekend.
Came home and enjoyed the evening with some very nice Speakers Corner re-issue vinyls after the others had gone to bed.

Saturday morning starts out with a steam and then chill with tunes for the rest of the morning. What a pleasure.

Re: A Saturday Afternoon
My Saturday.
Got up around 10:00. Instant noodle soup for breakfast, then hurried to the squash court. Played some squash, nearly got my ass handed to me by a recovering leukemia patient. Had some lunch with my squash buddies around 15:00. Brought lunch home for my girlfriend.
Listened to some music. Ordered food (soups 'n salads) only ate the soup (salad was Sunday "morning" breakfast) went to the bar had some beers (Gouden Carolus Triple, Hopus, and a Jopen draft IPA). Ate some Flemish fries at the bar
Got home around 01:00 sleep around 02:00 after watching some Vin and Sori on YouTube. A Christian couple that reviews metal/rock. I'm no Christian but I really like what they are doing.Pre amp: Ocatve Phono Module Power amps: Octave MRE130 Turntable: SAC Girati Grande. Re: A Saturday Afternoon
I gardened, mowed my grass and put 3 slate pavers in my back yard. I had A Tribute To Led Zeppelin by Encomium cranking. Then I came in, put on some classical and worked out.

I continue to be very impressed with the Esoteric “Master Discrete DAC”. I’ve owned my N-01XD for a couple of years and it continues to impress. I believe one would have to spend at least 2X to get...
