Which is the latest and greatest FMC?

Do you guys like either one of these?

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...e?ie=UTF8&th=1

Not sure what the difference is between them.

I have two unused StarTech.com MSA Uncoded Compatible SFP Module - 1000BASE-ZX - 1GbE Single Mode Fiber (SMF) Optic Transceiver - 1GE Gigabit Ethernet SFP - LC 70km - 1550nm - DDM (SFP1000ZXST) sitting unused staring at me on the shelf.

I'm thinking of doing a shoot out between them and my new quad cheap switch and one super high end switch vs two FMC's to the high end switch.

I purchased the cheaper version last year when I still had my Lumin X1.
It was terrible sounding. I couldn't believe how bad it was.
Peter from Lumin had previously wrote over the years that a switch that converts to fiber is better than a media converter so on a whim I decided to get a Trendnet switch that was $20 cheaper than the converter and I was surprised how much better it was. I still use the Trendent with an added iFi power supply that sounds fantastic to me.

The best FMC I've used is the Sonore OpticalModule. An updated version of this is now available as the Sonore OpticalModule Deluxe. Designed by the same engineer that designed EtherREGEN, John Swenson, who knows more than a thing or two about this domain.
