Iconic face of Marantz and an industry legend.

I always was intrigued with his dressing style and presence at audio events.
Seemed to me like the audio equivalent of a "made man" with his strong ties to Marantz.

    Gone too soon ....

R.I.P Ken and thank you for your contribution over many decades to the audio industry.

Ken 'breathed' over Marantz gear and made it better.

Over the years I owned CD players and integrated amplifiers which bore his signature; KI-S.

I remember him as the face and voice of Marantz. I owned a 2245 and then 2290 before going totally nuts. Not sure if they were before or after his tenure? The "totally nuts" part refers to me jumping from that to tri-amped Infinity Servo Statics.

Did he design the 22XX receivers? Or was that before his time there?
