Hmmmm.....OK - so I just had the owner of a speaker company who on their web site says their speakers are "cool" try and lecture me that audio racks and fighting vibrations in high-end audio are not important.

They challenged me when I said maple would racks have their own sound vs higher end vibration racks (you can hear this with your own ears and high end rack manufacturers also talk about this issue), they said vibration footers don't make a difference, and rather than adding vibration footers or platforms to deal with vibrations that people should just automatically know what is the best rack and buy it first and foremost and then won't ever need to supposedly deal with vibration issues.

Still not naming the owner of speaker company and the brand.

It's interesting watching who gets all wound up over my post. It's always the same few people on this forum that feed off spreading negativity. Entertaining to sit back and watch for sure.

so then why are you afraid to spill the beans on what 'speaker company' is in question ? I don't see how those of us that asked could be misconstrued as being negative ??

It wasn't speaker stands. He was talking about audio racks, audio footers and platforms. I believe I said audio rack in my original post, and should have included the part about the footers/platforms as well.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind members you can create an "ignore" list. I have three Sharks on my list and it works very well.
