    Horse Trading…

Guys, when you see company X using company Y’s products, don’t read too much into it.

There is a lot of horse trading that goes on (ie. We will trade you this amp for a set of your cables).

Do your own listening and decide for yourself what sounds best with what. Don’t just assume because manufacturer A is using manufacturer B’s product that that is the best match. Often, it’s not. It might be decent, but not the best.

You will get FAR more intel by watching what DEALERS use as pairings. But in the end…

    DO YOUR OWN LISTENING!

THIS is one of the reasons why it's so important to have a dealer you trust.

Sure, in that case make sure youre trusting your ears at home in your own environment and at leasure. Meaning youll need to borrow gear for a week or so… not many have that option.

Kinda a two edge sword here. If you dealer lets you trial it at home, you can trust your ears and your dealer.

Sorry - I have no idea what you are trying to say. Who said anything about not using or trusting your ears?

    Cheers
