I was just about to post this. One of the most unique music groups in history. I tend not to like most electronic music, but I loved their work. RIP, Mr. Schneider.

A real music pioneer IMO. What these Düsseldorf guys pulled off, was nothing short of phenomenal at that time.

We’re all knowledgeable about music and music history. But just reflect on this timeline, and think about what was happening in parallel when Kraftwerk released their albums.

Autobahn (1974) - just a couple years before CCR were in their hey days
Radio-Aktivität (1975) - Vietnam war ended, Angelina Jolie was born
Trans Europa Express (1977) - first Star Wars movie, Apple II goes on sale, Elvis dies
Die Mensch-Maschine (1978) - Commodore 64 was released four years later at Las Vegas CES in 1982, ping pong was a major technology break-through
    Tour De France (2003)

The synth sounds these guys created in the ‘70s are essentially what you are getting today, when buying a synthesizer.

    Kudos, RIP.

Such a good point, I have to wonder how they were able to make some of those sounds. And definitely pioneers in their sound..
