Extra insurance for audiophile gear?

I am starting to get a good collection of audio gear in my home. Question, please, is there a special home insurance that I need to buy just for the stereo equipment? I already have the usual home insurance along with protection for burglary. But I was not sure if other audiophiles took extra policies for the stereo equipment?
 
It is policy dependent and can differ with insurance companies. In Florida it is increasingly hard to get any type of homeowners coverage due to hurricane frequency!
My insurer had the option for additional contents coverage without an additional property rider. Depending on the amount you wish to ensure and your current carrier it may be necessary to have a separate policy for additional coverage.
 
In Holland it is easy: you simply have to increase your max return of all your things in house, for a higher monthly cost. If you have expensive audio, you have to higher your insurance.

Nature disasters, if the dikes break for instance, are excluded, because in that case the insurance company is bankrupt.
 
CHUBB Insurance is highly recommended for valuables/audiophile equipment.
