Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
Curious as to what people think and do about mitigating the potential harm of RF, 4G, 5G, Microwaves and the rest of the things silently storming through our homes and bodies.
Does anyone use the little discs you stick on your cell phones or computers?
I sit in front of 2 computers, 3 monitors, and a wireless router all day for work. I found myself drained and ready for a nap at 3pm every day when I got done work. I also had interrupted sleep patterns.
We recently purchased Pendants by Q-Link to wear that work on the science of Sympathetic Resonance Technology. The simplest demo of this is to take 2 Tuning Forks of the same frequency and strike only one of them. Then mute that fork with your hand. The other untouched fork will be ringing. The theory is that since our bodies are electrical, and our hearts generate electricity and specific Healthy Frequencies, the pendant is supposed to amplify those good healthy frequencies in order to combat RF and other waves effecting us.
After 3 weeks, I am no longer tired and sleepy at the end of my shift. I have been sleeping better. Q-Link products have been on the market for 30 years so I have to assume they do something positive. They can't be any more snake oil than Cables
Other things I do that most will not include not allowing my phone to use 5G, the phone is only turned on to be used for a call, directions, or to spy on the dogs we watch. I also turn my Router off at night when sleeping. Yes, I know there are 20 other networks streaming past my house but one less strong signal turned off has to help some.
What do you do about RF? Or do you not care and just chalk the related illnesses and sleep issue and more to your new norm?-----------------

Re: Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
I read the ad on Amazon for the pendant and it doesn't mention protection against RF, but it does mention EMI with no explanation on how it could possibly protect you.
The marketing on Amazon for the pendant sounds like a bunch of new age nonsense. When you first started talking about how you were tired at the end of the work day after staring at 3 monitors all day, I thought that was par for the course for your type of job. When you said you started sleeping better at night and were no longer tired at the end of the work day after wearing the pendant for 3 weeks, I thought if we swapped out the magic pendant for My Pillow, we would have a new My Pillow commercial.
The bottom line for me is if you sleep better and have more energy because of the pendant, I'm happy for you.Micro Seiki SX-8000 air bearing table, SME 312s arm, SME 3012R arn, Dynavector XV-1s cartridge, Lyra Etna SL cartridge, ARC Ref 3 phono stage, Otari MX-55 2 track R2R, Ampex 350 tape repros, Roon Nucleus Plus music server, HiFi Rose 150B DAC, ARC Ref 6, ARC Ref 75 with KT-150s, Parasound JC5 amp , JBL 4345 speakers, Viero Equilibro Level 3 speaker cables, and Definitive Technology Ref subs.

Re: Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
I want to feel fully irradiated at all times. I sleep with my wireless router AND my 5G cellphone under my pillow every night. I heat up water in the microwave all throughout the day, even when I don't need it, just so I can stand in front of it and feel the chocolate bar in my shirt pocket melt. If I could relocate my apartment directly under power lines, I would.
What do I do about RF? Honestly ... nothing.Electronics: Pass Labs XP-22, Pass Labs X250.8

Did you not ask this question?
"Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?"
I suppose I could've just said, "No." and left it at that. I thought my response was at least a tad more humorous.Electronics: Pass Labs XP-22, Pass Labs X250.8

Re: Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
you would need to wrap the devices completely with some kind of metal to avoid the rays.
a disc is like trying to stop the wind with your finger. it is placebo, however, as we see, it works as well.
to be tired at the end of work is human.
that said, i think it is good to think about all the amount of rays we are exposed to. i was a little worried about myself years ago and tried to learn about.
i cant give you an answer whether it affects anybody, there is no scientefic evidence.
however, relatively speaking, there are a lot of other much more worse things we are exposed to.
industrial food, designer food......imho, worlds poison nr1 is sugar. yes, SUGAR and all its kind of like glucose syrup etc. it is what makes people systematicly fat, diabetis etc.
check your insulin level (not sugar level as they do) and you will know your condition / direction.
drifted away from your topic, sorry, but if you are concerned about rays (agreed, they cant be good), at least for now nobody has been harmed.

lol, good joke.
powerlines are a good example.....we can see them and many get worried (some are sure they got even badly sick).
the powerlines in the road, we cant see them and they worry NOBODY while they are much much closer and far less isolated.

Re: Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
You get it. I never thought the discs would do anything. I did not want to spend the money to buy the testing equipment needed to measure any before and after. I took a shot on the Q-Link at $69, less than some pay for albums.
And since we are being hit from every direction, food, water, air, doesn't is seem prudent to pay attention to your health? My wife and I are both 61 and take no Pharmaceuticals. We appear to be in a small group and intend to keep it that way however we can.
I pretty much knew what type of replies I would get before I posted. It's all good, sometimes the stress of worrying is worse than ignoring the harm.-----------------

Re: Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
I don't do anything. If we worried about all the potential harmful things in the environment we'd go crazy. Like U-Sound, I'm more concerned about what's in our food and packaging. I mean a chicken breast these days looks like it came from an ostrich.
I want to have a good quality of life but I could get hit by a bus tomorrow. You know what I mean, just live each day to its best.
The thread will go south as if it hasn't already, so, it seems counter intuitive to be concerned about the environment yet back the party who does their worst for it. The Trump admin devastated environmental protectionsAurender ACS10 w/Audioquest Diamond USB, Esoteric N05xd

Re: Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
Wow, I have no idea how you turned this Political against guidlines but that will more than likely help get this thread shut down.
My questions had nothing to do with environmental protections or exactly who is behind all the bad things being thrown our way. The questions were to see if anyone at all was concerned a bit and trying things to mitigate the potential risk of harm from it all.-----------------

Re: Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
Well if you have a cell phone, microwave, cordless phone at home you are getting RF. The avg RF does we all get in a year is 620 mrem.
anyway, In 2020 I had so much radiation in 30 days 60gy's, not to mention a few PET SCAN's with contrast and CT's I should be concerned, I had over 60,000 mrem in 30 days. But it sure beats the alternative.

Re: Does anyone care or worry about RF and other potential things bombarding us?
Well nobody was around to see due to full blown covid in full swing except the MAYO team, my wife, daughter and sister as they shared shifts taking me there and back. After the 23rd session, I felt like crap, so I could have been glowing then
All I know when you lay on that raised table, strapped down and the old proton machine starts ramping up and that huge thick door closes to protect those outside, you kinda go, well ain't this special. But my request for some rock and roll being played helped a lot during each of these 25-30 min sessions. Hell I'm just glad to be here and chat with friends.
