These have my attention. How is the comparison to the model above them?

    Hello,

I have just spent some time listening to these quite Fyne speakers with a VTL 200 S.
Heard these last with a Linn integrated.
The VTL is better in my opinion.
I have not heard anything like this since I heard the F10's.

Can not wait to hear the 704's.

    Enjoy

The sound is truly amazing and natural.

Quite bit better than the 703's which I think are really great speakers for their price.

    Yes Mike,

I am aware you were the First.

These wonderful speakers seem to be selling quite well for so called new Scottish Brand.

Yes this was meant to be joke since Tannoy was the very first.

    By the way,

I ran into two people who changed out the internal wiring and crossovers of the 503's.

    Seems quite odd to me.

    I am very serious,
I have not been this impressed with speakers in long time.

Have heard other concentric speakers in the past.
    Brands we all know.
I was not thrilled by their SQ.

    Cheers

    Re: 703 pics

    Hello,

I need to confess that I had my model numbers mixed up.

I had heard the 702's and not these 703's.

Spent quite some time listing to the 703's the other day.
To me they do sound quite different than the 702's.

I was very impressed by the sound of the 702's but just plain blown away with the 703's.

They seem to have even more space and dept than the other model.
Mid range is exceptional and amazing dynamic range.

Deep bass notes were very natural and musical sounding.

The 703's seem to have larger tweeter and different crossover Etc.

I can not wait to hear the 704's.

But I think for the price,
the 703 might be the way to go.

    Truly amazing speakers!

    Re: 703 pics

I haven’t heard the 703s but have spent time listening to the 702s. The 702s are terrific - very musical and great presentation. Very efficient and easy to drive at a reasonable price. One of my favorites in the $5K - $10K space.

I am looking at the 503s for my next purchase but unfortunately, I have no place to hear any of them. I can't seem to find an east coast dealer anywhere near Philly. Glad to see people are loving this Fyne brand.

    Re: 703 pics

    Hello,

I stumbled into a F1-5 unboxing and listening session last Friday.
    These babies are gorgeous!

They were sounding quite nice right out of the box but they obviously need some break in time.

Some of people I was with said they might sound better with tubes.
We were listening with SS electronics.

I was quite impressed to say the least.

I must add that I was in the company of some French men who own Fyyne's.
One has extensively modified his Fyne's,
re wiring, adding an external crossover and modifying the tweeter.
    Sounds interesting

    Re: 703 pics

    Hello,

I really need to get my models numbers correct.
Thought Chord Electronics names were confusing.

I spent some time yesterday listing to the Fyne's.
As it turned out they were the F 8 models.

The system had changed a bit since last time I heard them.
New tube amplifier driving them with Chord Pre amp and Dac.
I found the sound simply stunning!
Quite an improvement than last listen and that had something to do with proper burn in I would think.

To me the SQ most resembled their bigger Brother's in this Series and not of the 702's or the 703's.

These speakers are simply gorgeous to look at and sound amazing.

    Especially for their price.

Looking forward to hearing them again asap and i thing they will be moving to a larger room so one can listen farther back and speakers can even be farther apart.

    These are very Fine Speakers.
