Forum Software Update

I'm logged in and reading the thread Mike posted about Bart & Florida show in Tampa - tried to Like It and software advised I did not have permission. Then tried to post a comment -- it reverted to a new logon screen (enter user name & password).

Something is still hosed.

Best to all,

Bob

That’s nothing to do with the forum. That message was because you were not logged in. You’re clearly logged in now if you can make posts.

I was logged in - I have never visited the site without logging in -- or else "behind the seen" logs me out. Just saying Mike.

Best Sir,

Bob

Just saying….that’s why you got that message. You’re logged in now or you couldn’t post.

I'll monitor and advise. I stepped away for maybe 15 minutes and was logged out - what is the inactivity time in minutes where it logs you out with no browsing, etc?? I'm offering constructive software criticism - not trying to induce a fight - I did that in Vietnam and Liberation of Kuwait. Peace Sir.

Thanks Sir,

Bob

I know everyone at Suncoast is very busy but I've been getting this alot lately;

It seems to be intermittent which certainly doesn't make it any easier to diagnose.

Clear your cache.

Not my cache, not on two different machines and my iphone or ipad, using either Chrome, Edge or Firefox or Safari on my iphone or ipad. . Like I finally got access, and I didn't clear any history or cache. Some days it works and some days of late not so much. And I can access other sites without any connection issues. It seems to be a singular site. Anyway its working at this moment.

And a question, is there a online timer set that will unlog a user after so many minutes of inactivity.

Thanks Mike

I get it each morning it seems while all the other sites work great, using different browsers and PC's. Like this morning

Same here for approximately the past two weeks. Audioshark is the only site where I have this problem. Apple software is up-to-date.

Yes, I get that...all the time. I've been having this exact problem since February. I never know from one day to the next if I'll be able to gain access to the site, or not (i.e., get the AS main page to load.) I also encounter the same failure mode using two different browsers, Safari and Brave. I don't have problems accessing any other sites, at all.

I should add that I almost never access the site using a mobile phone. It's always on a computer.

I had a big rash of the site not loading with Safari on my iPad citing too many redirects. Problem remained the same after donating. On and off still, working fine this evening.

Where is 'Remember Me' located, is it on Audioshark, or located within each browser ?

It’s in the screen shot I posted. When you go to log in, it’s right there next to password.

I found a work around, sort of. When I get a "too many redirects" message and can't get in, I Google Audioshark and can go to Forums, general. Navigating the forum from there is precarious. Maybe start a software update thread in "general" and we'll all be able to at least post our experiences. Maybe.

Good idea. We are working in the background to upgrade software and servers.
