I understand one needs a huge room for the 3's. If I found a nice orange pair of 1's, OTOH, I'd be all over them! I'm a sucker for orange.

Has anyone compared the Focal Sopra Series vs. Raidho X(xt)-series?

I have the X-1's and i love them, but maybe it was time for something new. I have considered the XT-1's but, i'm not sure its much of an update, and the D-series is way to expensive. The C-series is probably not that much of an upgrade either.

How does the Focal inverted beryllium dome compare to the Raidho Ribbon tweeter?

    Thanks...

I would go with the Raidho XT series myself. That ribbon tweeter, 3D sound. Very good.

Re: New Focal Sopra 2 Review

I had been looking for speakers that would produce low level detail at low volumes in my small apartment. I was thinking about the Raidho XT-1's until I heard the XT-2's. I bought the ones from the show in Chicago and they are just what I was looking for. They cost twice what the XT-1's cost but are not much more than the Focal's.

I'm not allowed to post a link but the actual speakers I bought are on U-Tube. Just Google Raidho XT2 and it will be the first one found. It will give you an idea about what the XT-2s are about.

I also have all the other equipment there except I have a Aurender N10 in place of the Naim CD player and a Naim rack instead of the Ansuz/Aavik rack.
