Focal Sopra No. 3

Found this on the other site, through a link to a Taiwanese magazine. Seems the difference on No. 3 is 8" woofers. Goes 1Hz lower than No. 2 and 0.5db more sensitive.

Looks a lot more imposing than No. 2. The driver sizes and price also put it in direct competition with Magico S3. Maybe too early as No. 3 just came out, but interested in knowing opinions of those that heard these both.
 
I wish they didn't look broken. For that reason alone they are off my search for a new speaker...

Kev, I've never cared for Focal speakers, until I heard the Sopra 1 at RMAF. They were so musical and enjoyable. Made me tap my foot like crazy!

Don't dismiss them until you hear them.

Can't keep my eyes closed all the time Mark. Makes me think of someone with a wayward axe.....
 
They also have funny taste for looks [emoji6]
